Ray Kellock

Ray is responsible for transport and helps in the daily running of the Fairway Centre.

In 2008, somebody suggested that Ray enter the World Conker Championships, which he won. He won the world title again in 2010.

We are  Diane and Ray Kellock, the Company Directors of the Fairway Centre. As well as dealing with the administrative side of the business, we both take a hands on role in the day to day running of the Fairway Centre.

We have been running our own transport company, including transporting children and adults with learning difficulties, for over 20 years. During this time, we identified a need for a local day centre. In 2005, we needed to care for Diane’s nephew, Martin, which gave us the incentive to set up the Fairway Centre.

Hi, I’m Emily. I’ve been part of The Fairway Centre since 2009. I’ve got so many good memories since I’ve worked here, such as two 4 day trips with a group to Blackpool (2010 and 2011).

I have wanted to work with adults with learning difficulties since I was at school, so in 2009 I completed a BTEC National Diploma in Health and Social Care.

I am continuing my NVQ level 2 studies whilst working, and have attended an evening course in sign language.
